Graduate Site Engineer

Job Description & Role:

  • Assist with site setting out using surveying equipment and engineering drawings 
  • Support site supervision to ensure works are carried out in line with design and specification 
  • Carry out document control, including drawings, revisions, and technical records 
  • Help monitor quality control and ensure compliance with company and project standards 
  • Assist in site management activities, including daily coordination of works and progress tracking 
  • Support subcontractor coordination and management, including site inductions and supervision of works 
  • Contribute to health and safety compliance, including site inspections and reporting 
  • Assist with progress reporting and project updates for senior management 
  • Help with material tracking and site logistics coordination 
  • Liaise with engineers, foremen, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery 
  • Gain exposure to project planning and scheduling activities 
  • Support preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related construction discipline (preferred) 
  • Strong interest in construction site operations and civil engineering projects 
  • Good understanding of construction drawings and basic engineering principles 
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment 
  • Full driving licence (preferred) 
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role 
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward problem solving

Site Manager / Foreman

Job Description & Role:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme 
  • Manage and coordinate site teams and subcontractors, ensuring clear direction and productivity 
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and company standards 
  • Lead site supervision and coordination of trades, resolving issues as they arise 
  • Maintain strong control of health and safety compliance, including toolbox talks, inductions, and site inspections 
  • Monitor quality control, ensuring all works meet required standards and client expectations 
  • Manage site programme and sequencing of works, reporting progress to senior management 
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers, clients, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery 
  • Oversee material coordination and site logistics to maintain efficient workflow 
  • Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and progress updates 
  • Identify and resolve site issues and coordination conflicts promptly 
  • Ensure proper implementation of temporary works and site setup arrangements 
  • Promote a strong safety culture and high standards of workmanship on site

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman within construction/civil engineering projects 
  • Strong knowledge of site operations, sequencing, and construction methods 
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills 
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site compliance 
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple site activities 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills 
  • Ability to manage workload under pressure and meet deadlines 
  • Relevant construction qualification or trade background (preferred) 
  • Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications (as required) 
  • Full driving licence (preferred)
